Could be a case of mis-using a term. Kinda like how 'headaches' are commonly called 'migraines' by some folks! -

Which postcard design did you prefer? I liked the one with the kids sharing an ice-kachang more than the one with the Esplanade and fireworks.

If the picture on the postcard is anything to go by, the Esplanade has to be one of the most grotesque-looking pieces of architecture in Singapore. If they were going for the durian motif, they succeeded admirably!

MG The last time I had one, though was... what... two years or more ago?
I remember that when Denny's restaurants were still in existence, I loved one of their floats - Orange Sherbet with strawberry sauce (with real strawberries in it! ) in a tall glass with Sprite in it. I think it was called 'Sprite Delight'!
As a kid, I remembered drinking McDonald's milkshakes. The typical flavours they had were Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla. Then, they had a special promotion period where they offered Banana Milkshake as well.
Now, I'm lactose-intolerant so milkshakes are a huge no-no for me! -

MG This postcard thing is an annual thing and I'd always make it a point to send a few to each of my overseas friends. -

Right now, I'm looking at a possible trip to Singapore sometime early next year, for a break from winter here. If that happens, I'd love to meet up with the Club 30 regulars; how difficult would it be to arrange such a gathering?
