Burning Of Incense

  Are there no rules against burning of incense at corridors of HDB flats?
  
  my neighbour did it again yesterday midnight. i woke up feeling like i was in cameron highlands, except for the smell of burning soot. i ended up having to open all windows and door for better ventilation.

  Really? That smoggy? How many sticks did they burn? Usually three sticks only isn't it?

  I think it's just incence that's burnt and placed in a bronze pot to burn, and then carried like a lantern all over a certain area? Is it like this, dragg?
  
  I've seen my ex-neighbours, who were Indians, do this. It does produce a lotta smoke.
  
  But nothing beats the Hungry Ghost Festival ash and smoke fest!

  my neighbour do burn incense, but they are nice, like burning it in a metal container far away from my door..
  
  and besides, they dont burn so much...a bit can show sincerity liao..

  they burnt it in a pot. but they did it just at the corridor near to my door. i will go to town council on monday and clarify with them.

  Sigh...this is a tricky issue...sometimes have to ren3 (tolerate)... and close all your windows, stuff wet cloth under the door. Used to suffer an insufferable neighbour(s) who would burn incense, smoke outside my windows and play mahjong overnight while in my ex-neighbourhood. Tsk..tsk...
  
  Now still face this problem with new neighbour in a new neighbourhood, and we're at the mercy of the wind direction, so still try to ren3... at least he's not as bad as the old insufferable neighbour.
