1 packet of Chilli Brand Bee Hoon
1 packet of Prima Plain Flour
1 tin of Anmum2
3 tin of MilkMaid Condensened Milk
7 bottles of Heinz Baby Juice
Of course, last but not least

That's all for food (Apparently, this week, lots of sauces went dry). Oil, still have 5kg of Knife

No idea. How about buying the sambals from restaurants where you've eaten before and liked it?
Some of these eating places are enterprising enough to bottle up their sambal for sale.
I like Prima Taste's sambal.

Oh...the 2kg of sugar on your shopping list caught my eye. To me, it's a very big pack of sugar!
I usually buy a pack of 500g of raw sugar each time, and in one year, think I probably do that 2 to 3 times. And 1 bottle of chili sauce can last >1 yr.

I'm worse. We use so little sugar, I buy them in tiny sticks. And they've not been used once yet.

Now I remember the word: sugar has low glycemic index.
Salt - too much in the long run can cause high blood pressure (forgot the explanation liao). If you eat 3 meals a day outside, then it's likely you're eating too much salt. Worse if you like to dip into the small dish of soya sauce provided when you eat noodles outside. Also bear in mind that chilli sauce and ketchup also contains quite a bit of salt, so do canned soups, instant noodle seasoning and canned meat. Sorry, I can't remember the figures on hand, but if you need concrete figures, I believe you shd be able to obtain the info at the health promotion board site. -
