well .... i'm going to try this new fangled diet thingy ..... i'm going vegan for a month during the december hols ...... try to flush out the toxins in my system ... people say it might be because of the accumulated chemicals in a "non-organic" diet ..... i probably have lots of assorted chemicals in my bod ... considering how often my meals comes out of a can or a jar ......Originally posted by Wanda:Oh dear dear! Waa...vegan is quite extreme....way above vegetarian....no fish, no eggs, no milk, no cheese... you'll have to scrutinise the ingredient lists of processed food, and watch out to ensure enough protein intake. There r 2 common products effective for hair growth. Propecia & Minoxidil. It may be a genetic problem or it could be ur diet. Try to cut down the instant noodles lah. (read abt the nongshim)
There was a period of time i kept losing hair. Didn't eat well, stress frm work, not enuf rest etc.. weight dropped drastically & hair started to fall out too. Tried some tonics & shampoo frm GNC but didn't work. Consulted a doc & he said its common of sudden hairloss periodically. (stress, hormones / diet change, hair dyes etc..) After dat started to eat/live healthy, fattened up & hair also stop falling.
My bro is losing hair too & he is only 15! His problem is due to him staying under the sun for too long. (soccer.. games.. military band) Now he's using a tonic dat contains minoxidil prescribed by the doc. -
