Ayori Ayoshi - the best anime series ever.
No violent rubbish or any of that junk.
It's just human relations, and the purity of love.
Sweetest show I've ever watched on a screen

Totto-chan: The Little Girl At The Window by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi
this is how a school should be.. where children learn to learn and love learning, unfettered by conventions and where the optimism and love of the headmaster is so great, most would be humbled by his enthusiasm and courage towards facing life and its many challenges...
From the selection you've given, may I presume to guess... you're a lassie? (As opposed to a lad, NOT calling you by that famous dog's name! )Originally posted by kAdEn:Fav Book: The alchemist by Paulo Coelho

Anime...
what else?
Cowboy Bebop (The Perfect Sessions)
Two space cowboys, bounty hunters, on a decrepit ship, The Bebop, roam the spaceways hunting down bounties.
...
It starts out cheerful and lighthearted but there is a darkness in the series and somewhere, their desperation of running from the past becomes evident as it catches up with them to a tragic end.
With a background music supplied by the wonderful Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelts, everything fuses into an addictively watchable series.

OK, I read 'The Alchemist' and was pretty satisfied with it. However, the first book by Paulo Coehlo that pushed him out of obscurity, 'Veronika Decides to Die', is still, in my opinion, his best to date.
