however, back to reality.. most soups unless it's the type full of fat and spices, cannot keep more than 2 days much less 9 days -

It'll be soooo nice to hold a cozy small gathering at my home one day, cook a pot of chunky soup, grab a few loaves of crusty bread, and tuck in together one rainy day!
Bring out mattresses, lay them out in the living room side-by-side, watch TV together, laugh very loudly at the silliest jokes, and then talk, talk, talk!
