Nothing to hide but sometimes, pple may wanna bury their unhappy past & leave it all behind. There r things or pple dat they don't wish to be reminded of again. Unless he's comfortable to reveal, briefly will do.. spare me the details. I don't think i wanna know.

Everyone has a past.. dun tell me he or she has no bf/gf before? if u dun mind all this..why should he mind.. and if he mind... lets just say..there no good staying together. -
well, the past is the past. the relationship between 2 people currently is the present. therefore, knowing about a person's past is good, but we should always keep an open mind that the past is still the past, we do not want to dwell in the past, but move forward to the brighter future ahead of us.
the human mind is hard to perceive. when we hear good things about someone's past, we tend to think that, oh that was last time, now is different.
when we hear bad things about someone's past, we tend to think, will he/she improve or have changed? what if he becomes worse? what if next time he/she.... what if?... what if?...
at that point, it sets someone into this extremely defensive mode. -
I guess its the same everywhere people use your past actions to judge you
and if we are lucky to find someone who loves us
despite our mistakes
(It's a bit like yellow ribbon campaign) it's great but prejudices are hard to erase
Also it depends on how/what you reveal about your past relationships ba
if you reveal that in actual fact you are still very much in love/cannot forget/ very affected by your previous partner
OR you subconsciously compare your current partner with previous partner
then I think definitely your current partner will feel threatened and insecure
and find that hard to accept ba -
