Quite often u get noise like SBS rumbling past ur hse, disturbing ur lovely music...so these earphones cancel out this outside noises.... -

Some Simple Plan song was played ad nausem over the PA system while we were preparing for a funfair. It made me sick to the stomach.

I think ANY song, no matter how lovely or melodious, will become dreadful if played to death!

Lau, in Nursing School, my project group had problems with one member who was blur and lazy. Blur is ok, we can work around that, but lazy, now, that's inexcusable!
So, after putting up with her for a year and a half, and after subtly warning her, then plain telling it to her upfront, she still didn't change.
So, we booted her out of our group. I was viewed by the other groups as the 'bad one' since I was the leader and the strongest-willed one. The other groups also had members that couldn't get along so we triggered a massive change in grouping.
Later, I realised that the standards were not-so-high, we could put in half the effort we used to put in, and still rake in those 'A's. So, when our group changed, we became more relaxed too.
Man, kinda pai seh... I was so extremely Type 'A' back then! -
