Who's the better shopper? Men or Ladies?

From my personal research, majority of the men goes for items they need.
Design gets thrown out of the window...
Women goes for items they love. Design plays a big part in their spending.
The greatest difference is that women had a greater spending impulse. They buy because they think they will need.
They confessed occassionally to having a cupboard of unused... (more than sufficient to last a lifetime collection... just for the design...)
Whereas men would be found always forced to shop when things run out. -

Hubby gave me a pottery book for my bday, without realising that I'd already bought the book for myself some months ago. So, I asked him if I could give it to my then coursemate (exchange was not possible, coz the bookfair ended), and he said ok. I had to give the bday copy from my darl to my coursemate, bec. it's a newer copy than the one I bought which I had flipped through.
So what do you ppl think?

A close friend gave me a CD which I already own. So, I asked him to write something inside the CD cover so that I can remember him by, then I kept the one he gave me, and gave away the one I owned.

I remember last time..went out shopping with polytechnic claSSMATES.. all girls.. they bring me ard orchard from morning to evening for shopping.. i dun even know wat are they looking for.. my legs are shagged out.. i makes me wondered? is girls indecisive or they wanna fool me ard..? worse of all..bring me go see girls stuff... I soo paiseh standing beside them... but they let me hav good understanding of the female gender..environment makes me to understand them more..

nowadays when they take me shopping, I just go browsing in the man section or go for coffee until they sms me -

Why such old fashioned thinking? Aiya, when you have a steady gf or wife, talking about/shopping for lingerie will become normal conversation/activity. You may even help your gf/wife with the selection. -

Toys... (YES toys they put for deco... lego, figurines, u can start naming them...)
BAGS... (No, not your handbags, but the cool, big haversack, briefcase.... waist pouch, wallets, slingbag...)
CDs/DVDs/Quote the next storage device.... (Games, Songs, Software...)
Wine collection... (God, they kept for years good old years to tell their grandson where they bought that bottle from... "back when I was with grandma at Sicily..)
Watches...
Coins... Cards...
Buckles for belts.. (OMG you probably didnt noticed that guys spend on metal pieces for belts... BELTS!!!)
Rings (with dragons, skulls, bones, snakes, stylish looking rings..)
Golf balls, Tennis balls, Soccer balls... Racquets, boots, jerseys.. (Yes, you know..)
Ornaments.. stones, dzi beads, jewels, whatever lucky stone or piece of crystal...
Now we do have a genuine case of pots calling kettles black.. -
yeah.. i buy truckloads of DVDs
but rarely are they impulse buys.. i figure what i want then i go to the shops to look for them
impulse things are usually makan things.. let's go eat sushi or let's go eat too much.. or let's go drink a few pints of lager, have a shot of Jagermeister... -
