Conspiracy between Love That Binds & ROM?

a fren told me he couldn get a slot when he logged in at 12 midnight sharp 3 mths before his desired date to sign the stupid paper.
The ROM people said slots are taken up very quickly. but at 12 midnight? all slots?
But when he approached the agency Love That Binds, and they got him the date n time.
@ an extra $160. $26 still has to be made to ROM tho.. So in total he paid $186. -
I wonder what nellie will say about this...
this is stupid.
If I knew this a few months ago, I'd have say no to marriage in sg.

Was his desired date a popular date?

they're complainin about more n more singles in sg... but they're not makin it easier for ppl to get pronounced man n wife.
this bookin system is bull... they just wanna force ppl to book via an agency.

I remember logging in at the stroke of midnight, and being able to pick and choose from the many slots available.
Which dates did your fren choose? Perhaps they were a v. popular date / day or s'thing so ROM blocked out alot of the times for some reason or other... -
he said there's an error when he tried to book the date. slots are full or sth...

Cost-wise, if you're doing it out of ROM, it's up to you to budget. Can be as cheap or as expensive as you organise it to be. -

Hmm... when the time comes for me to make that decision, I don't think I'd want to solemnise my marriage in the ROM building.
I'd rather do it in a church setting, or in a cozy place surrounded by my close friends and relatives. My younger bro solemnised his with a JP at Altivo, and it was just the way I would have liked to have mine done! -
