  Yup, had a 5-day orientation programme which started off with HR explaining policies to us (me & another colleague), followed by explanation of what was in the company Internet & Intranet sites. Everyone who trained us was very knowledgeable & professional in explaining what we needed to know. The staff were (and still are!) all very friendly and nice.
  
  Have an office grapevine in my dept who's taken to me and constantly fills me in on everything going on in the workplace... really handy to know who likes / dislikes each other, who's gay & who's going out with whom!
