u think it is so easy to pass ACCA huhOriginally posted by nomood:Assuming you can gain employment, it might be worth getting.
But nowadays any tom dick or harry are just taking it for the fun of it. Spoiling market. Wouldn't be surprised if Singapore starts super-saturating with ACCA qualified people.

How I fare is irrelevant.Originally posted by Kenashi:u think it is so easy to pass ACCA huh
go n try n tell me how u fare
how u fare is definitely relevant, if u can't get the final cert what is the use of being able to take the examsOriginally posted by nomood:How I fare is irrelevant.
My point is that, anyone with O levels + relevant experience can take ACCA. ie: the sch. dropout could have done it after taking O levels privately. Hence, the qualification security is very low.
Say, contrast it against, medicine, where one has to traditionally be within at least the top 5%(Arbritary, since i have no figures) of the nation in A Levels. Their job security is rock solid.
But if you wish to persist on how 'easy' it is to take the course, most folks I know got it within 4 years. So I guess it shouldn't be too difficult? This was done in addition to studying for their degree simultaneously. However, ultimately, most never bothered to work as an acccountant; ACCA to them is just an additional gurantee against unemployment which was relatively easy to get. that's all.
