  A newbie steps in, gets welcomed, we tried our best to make him/her feel at home, then, less than a week later, this very newbie makes his/her hasty exit, criticizing us harshly in the process. And then, he/she probably feels guilty about his/her judgement upon us, hence deleting the entire post.
  
  And then, I receive a PM from the person criticising me (so what's new? ). Essentially, it was a 'bleeding heart' msg, trying to portray him/herself in angelic terms, whilst blaming me for flaming.
