The Changing Face of Holland V

Wonder how many of you frequent Holland V?
I live nearby and grew up in this area so it's my haunt!
There are so much works going on there right now, so many changes and all that, and I was talking to SL about it, so I thought I'd highlight a few of them here.
- Cold Storage is now open 24/7.
- Citibank has an ATM now just outside Cold Storage.
- There's a new bank in the place formerly occupied by Sanwin Sports.
- They're building an extra storey to the car park behind the row of shophouses.
- The old market just opposite Coffee Bean is being revamped.
- Watson's and Guardian Pharmacy have been renovated and both are brighter and more attractive. Guardian is also two times larger now.
- The old large magazine stall beside UOB bank in the shopping ctr has now moved to the old florist that used to be behind the old KFC.
- There's now a Crystal Jade Cakery where there used to be this display of live seafood.
etc etc.
Who else wants to share the recent changes they've noticed but I've omitted? -

What??! Sanwin Sports is gone? I used to like going in there to browse.
Well, can't wait to go recce the whole new improved Holland V when I'm back! -
- There's a new branch of Eskibar in Holland V now! Mom and I saw the poor girls dressed in winter wear standing outside the stores yesterday and she said, 'Aiyoh! Ke Lian! Really jek ark! Making the poor girls wear that in this kinda weather!'

There'll be a train line serving Holland V in a few years' time.
Right now, the front pathway in front of the entire stretch starting from Watson's up to the end of the magazine store, is boarded up for construction works.
And oh, that small two-lane road beside the old KFC... it's now a one-lane road for incoming traffic. -
what abt the video game store. is it still there?

there's this second hand bookshop in the upstairs mall .......
the owner's a real book lover ..... is it still there ? ....
