I've had friends stung/hurt by both while walking or wading in shallow waters. In one extreme case, the person hopped off a boat near the shore, and landed smack on top of a sea urchin, spikes and all, barefoot.

She was in this lovely tropical island where the sand was smooth and lovely and the waters were clear and shallow. They were sitting around the beach, enjoying themselves when suddenly, someone screamed! They turned around and saw the tide bringing in this school of sea urchins towards them! They all screamed and ran the hell outta the waters before they were surrounded by the sea urchins!

I was thinking that it resembled that fish we eat in chi char restaurants that's fried first, then doused in sweet n sour sauce. Can't you guys see the resemblance?
I wear my beach sandals when wading too and like Bear I have seen enough documentaries to develop a huge phobia of wading in the sea bare-footed!Originally posted by the Bear:and i wear my beach sandals..
i've seen enough documentaries to know what indigenous critters we have here that can do you much harm if you step on them...
and, like the ditz said, i think there are signs telling you to be careful coz there are such dangerous critters...

If i am not wrong, the traffic rules say the driver is at fault?Originally posted by Wanda:If one stupid idiot ignores a no crossing sign and insisted on jay-walking, and he gets knock down by passing cars, and becomes hurt or disabled. The bleeding heart idiot pls show your misplaced compassion.
Ya lor...the degree of fault seems to depend on which lane the jay-walker was knocked down.Originally posted by laurence82:If i am not wrong, the traffic rules say the driver is at fault?
