and "organic food" can also mean selectively breeding the stuff until the sick aftertaste is gone.. however, it is the same as GM.. just that GM short-cuts the process.. think about it

Hmm, the egg yolk look to orangey to be ordinary chickie eggs -
okra is nice.. if you know how to do it
just steam the stuff and apply liberal amounts of sambal belachan on it.. or throw them into fish curries
asparagus, i'm indifferent to them.. they taste kinda weird but with too much garlic, the taste is masked -

you can cook brussel sprouts by putting them in a plastic bag and putting that said plastic bag into the bin
or be earth-friendly.. put the brussel sprouts into a compost heap
them sprouts rank up there with broccoli on the yuk-stakes

And asparagus, there are many ways I cooked it - with a crabmeat sauce, with chicken stock thickened with beaten egg 'flower', with a spicy sambal sauce (yup, pounded by moi! ) or plain with garlic and oyster sauce. Also, with shredded dried scallops once, with sambal ikan bilis another time.
I've seen recipes where they dice asparagus alongside other veges like baby corn, radish, carrots, mushrooms, etc., stir-fry them together with a dash of oyster sauce or hoisin sauce, thicken it with a little cornflour, and then scooped onto lettuce 'cups'.

the worse vegetable is the horrific Broccoli.. now THAT is bitter..
however, studies show that the thing is less than useless now.. the bitter and sick smell of stale sewage that broccoli has, is the active stuff in preventing cancer... yet, the growers have been slowly breeding the stuff or GM-ing it out of the broccoli...
which means the hell-spawned vegetable we refer to as "broccoli" now, is kinda useless

Artemis wanted to break into the shady world of assassinations for the Mafia.
So he put himself in the know amongst the shady underworld that he would do his first hit for $1. And that he would do it dramatically and unarmed so that everyone would know he did it. That would make his reputation.
Along came The Don and said, "You made me an offer I could not refuse! Rub out the boss of the Russian Mob, and I'll even take you in my Family as the Problem Solver."
Artemis went off and stalked his prey. Then, stealthily, he went into the Russian boss's room, and strangled the man to death. It was horrific as there was much struggling and the room was a mess after Artie's iron grip suffocated the man. However, when Artie tried to make his getaway, the Russian boss's wife walked in.
Artie had no choice and since he was also unarmed, he strangled her to death too.
The commotion woke up the butler who was then similarly dispatched by Artie.
However, there was so much noise made that the silent alarm was tripped, and the Police arrived. And after a struggle, Artie was arrested red-handed.
This was front page news! But the Headlines were underwhelming:

I guess in a way, our kids are lucky that they get variety at the canteen...but it's useless if the dishes they order have too little fibre and too much salt. And a fair number of foods are processed, such as sausages, hash browns, fries, and luncheon/spam.
How many of us go for the 'more vegetables' option at the hawker centre? Not me...
though I often ask for less gravy or lard. -
