oh we didn't do it. we forced the bloody management who promised us it will be cleaned off b4 we move in, to do it. They sent some people over to wash it up, at their cost. They were supposed to put in a pigeon net tho, and they didn't so its building up again despite the best of our efforts. Well if they wanna spend more $ to get people to come wash it, they're welcome to.Originally posted by Rhonda:
Bleah!! *pukes!
It must have been darn satisfying standing at the balcony after scraping all that dried-up gunk off!

Well, doing the dishes ALONE is easy.Originally posted by the Bear:doing dishes is dead easy..
i dunno why people find it so difficult.. gimme about 10 to 15 minutes... all will be cleaned in double-quick time
you can always leave everything for him to wash mah ...Originally posted by Wanda:Well, doing the dishes ALONE is easy.
How about rushing back from work (and before you can sit down to rest or get a drink), stand for 1 hour cutting, chopping and doing food preparation AND cooking, frying, making a pot of soup AND washing the dishes, knives, chopping board used in food preparation, pots, kuali, sometimes clean the oven or grill + the dishes used in serving dinner (after dinner)?
My hubby usually wash the last bit - the dishes he sees on the dinner table only.
His stuff isn't that bad. My Chris is a huge fan of himOriginally posted by shinta:jamie olivers?

but i guess the anally retentive wifey instincts can't bear the sight of all the stuff uncleaned after the food prep eh ....
So romantic. One of my ex-colleagues shares your view - she says cooking is 'ai4 de4 biao3 sian4' - an act of love. But then, she's yet to have an SO too. Maybe when one has SO, then it's not so romanticised anymore.Originally posted by Rhonda:Yo, kops!
There's actually a sort of satisfaction that one can derive from cooking. It's also aesthetic and a form of relaxation for some.
I love to cook for close friends because you can cook with love. Every single step of food preparation and cooking, you're thinking of cooking for people near and dear to you.
Can't wait to cook for my SO next time!
