I know a small number of vegetarians among them. And remember that the kids pn the show grew up on salty processed junk or fast food and sweet soft drinks. Vegetables taste just plain odd to them.Originally posted by Rhonda:Actually, a lot of ang moh's seem to dislike vegetables. I wonder why?

It's just so incredibly irresponsible of their parents to not feed their kids well!Originally posted by Kuali Baba:I know a small number of vegetarians among them. Perhaps they don't have the energy to cook meals from scratch or aren't taught how to. And it's just so convenient to get take-aways and fast food these days...without knowing what goes into them.Originally posted by Rhonda:It's just so incredibly irresponsible of their parents to not feed their kids well!
I mean, how can parents NOT feed their kids proper food that's nutritious and essential for good and proper growth?
Never going to touch those! Not even going anywhere near them!Originally posted by Kuali Baba:How about pâte and foie gras?

Man, soon, we'll have to learn how to make our own chicken nuggets and sausages!Originally posted by Kuali Baba:Honey...that's the last episode!
Good reasons to avoid junk food: It's mechanically-reclaimed meat, which Oliver demonstrated as a mixture of chicken carcass, skin, fat, salt, flavouring, preservatives and flour. He managed to put off the kids who were asking for their nuggets back.
The students in Greenwich (gren-itch) concentrated better in class after the switch, and they stopped using asthma inhalers.
The funny part was making Charles Clark (former education minister-for-state) eat some alien patties and spam when invited. He much prefered Oliver's food.
I skimmed through Huey's book just a couple of hours ago! The recipes look so yum!!Originally posted by Rhonda:Ah... it's 'Never Trust a Skinny Cook' on Discovery Travel & Living channel now!
