A marriage between two folks of the same social class already presents its own challenges, much less a marriage with such a huge gap in social status and its implications.
But hmm... the Japanese, who 'love face' very much more than their Western counterparts, would surely make sure that there'll never be a divorce in their royal family. -

But maybe, the royals are accustomed to using those higher-quality 4-ply or more, soft and durable what-not toilet paper and tissue paper that 5-star hotels use too?
