I'm honestly impressed with the speed and efficiency of the contractors and the foreign workers!
Piping changed and they even mopped up the place for me! It has never been cleaner! 
Tomorrow, the painting fellas come to touch up a bit and then, on yet another day, have to arrange for the kitchen cabinets to be put back up .
My heart really goes out to these foreign workers... they toil so hard everyday for so little. They really have to work with all the dirt and what-not!

in Philippines, doctors are quitting and going to other countries to work as nurses because they get paid better..
this is the same to a lesser extent here.. people are leaving because they are paid better elsewhere..
leaving us with a shortage of necessary people...
oh well...
anyway, there was a maniac from PETA going around Orchard Road today.. telling people to go vegetarian... nice idea.. however, it'll end up destroying the world's ecological balance... stupid people
