Already, when I brought this up to a colleague, she says that she has seen ladies and, get this... schoolboys
, yes, schoolBOYS, wearing blue contact lenses too! 
When I was a schoolkid, I didn't have the $$$ to get such fancy accessories, man!
And these aren't just schoolkids, they are boys! And you thought that females were the vainer sex! 
So, can you imagine yourself hopping on the bandwagon and purchasing a pair of blue (or indigo or green or whatever! ) contact lenses to wear?

Not me. I have dry eyes and I try not to wear my contact lenses if I can help it

Asians can look really weird with blue/light-coloured irises and dark eyebrows and without blond hair. Why did u think Anita Sarawak dyes her hair blond even though she still has her head of dark hair.

i tried colored lenses once... the blue n green wasn obvious in me.. the grey made me look like some kinda ghost or sth as suggested by a fren
den i settled for honey brown.
my frenz told me to get rid of it cos i look like some kinda animal.
a fox to be exact.
anyway i can't see a thing in colored lenses so.. its specs all the way -
what colour should i wear?

But like all other fashion trends, once we get over the initial shock, we'll start to kinda accept it and get used to it and then, before you know it, we might even be sporting it ourselves!
I mean, hey a few years ago, dyed hair was frowned upon and it wasn't common at all. Now, you don't even bat an eyelid if you see a keh ang moh (Asian with hair dyed blonde) in the streets!
Although we no longer have a shock value to it, I still maintain that it looks ridiculous! Highlights are awesome! Reds and browns are sooo good on Asians! But... peroxide blonde? Puh-leeeees!! -

we use to laugh everytime the discipline master asked me if my sister dyed her hair -

Personally, I won't put anything in my eye. And I natural coloured eyes, like my dear's. She thinks dark eyes like ours are cute though.
