You'll enjoy reading 'Chronicles of Narnia'. I read it when I was in Primary school and was very enchanted by it.Originally posted by laurence82:Hmm, I have not tried Chronicles of the Narnia yet
any good recommendations for readings along the line of LOTR or Narnia and such?

Try to read the entire series before the movie commences!

I prefer those to the level of Harry Potter or LOTR at leastOriginally posted by Rhonda:A scare?? Huh? It's a children-friendly series, what's so scary about it?

Yes, Enid Blyton's books can be addictive for a kid who has suddenly discovered them. It opens a new different world from what we have, and the kids in the books get to roam about freely and do whatever they want without adult interference....what a childhood.Originally posted by a_splash:i have all my collections (from primary school days, tho one or two belongs to my brother ) still with me, all in good condition other than turning yellowish/brownish....and Amanda, that big notty doll, and enid's other series which are for the younger children...
my girl started her avid reading after she lay her hand on those younger children series....
i remembered i was most impressed with the invisible ink and the pushing out of the key from inside a locked room and letting it dropped onto a paper then bring the key in with the paper, eureka!Originally posted by Wanda:Yes, Enid Blyton's books can be addictive for a kid who has suddenly discovered them.
