Stuff to do during Vacation Leave

well, i'm on leave from 16th Dec until the new year..
just wondering what to do...
there are a few things i would like to do.. which i'll probably enjoy...
- go to Sungei Buloh with my camera
- go to Farmart to look around and maybe buy some farm produce
- take a bus and go walk around JB City, wander around a bit, then take a bus home
then there are chores like:
- service the damned car
- wash and polish the damned car
- get rid of stereo in the room
- get new furniture for room
the chores will probably be done in a day...
which leaves many days of nothing to do..
any suggestions? or anything you guys wanna do? meet up and go do? i won't mind a group or a few of us going bowling at West Bowl where it's $5.80 for 3 games until 7pm

With two weeks of leave, you can definitely afford the time to take an overseas vacation, if a change of scenery is what you seek.
Or you can use the time to "rice up" your Vios!

1st thing, go for a morning jog.
then the activities begins whatever i have plan. -
For me it's easy.
Rot in front of the PC -
Plenty of things I'm planning to do with my off days for the next few weeks too!
I plan to :
- visit the Underwater World and use my 10% discount voucher for tickets;
- maybe trek up to that bridge thang in the reservoir to have a look-see;
- visit Night Safari;
- head to Canossaville Children's Home;
- check out that place... what's it called? ... FarmArt?? cuz a few months back was thinking of organising an outing there for the Canossaville kids;
- go on a photo-taking trip to Sentosa;
- try out a few new restaurants and what-not;
- visit the Botanical Gardens, again for photo-taking opportunities;
- visit the Science Centre;
etc etc etc. ... AND,
- laze about! -
Actually, hmm... I don't mind bowling BUT during off-peak periods only!

nth beats relaxing by the shores, listenin to the sound of the water, and enjoyin the cool sea breeze.
at least that's what i'm gg to do once i get another weekend together with nellie...
its hard to pull myself away from game. (i got so addicted to the game.. )

If I were in Bear's shoes, I'd use the two weeks' leave for an overseas vacation. Heaven knows he can definitely afford it, being an underworked and overpaid government employee. -

The only time you find me near the beach is when I go inline skating at ECP which I have not done in a long long time. -
Rotting in front of the PC is good
Reading is good
Watching DVDs
Browsing bookstores on weekdays during office hours
Watching movies on weekday mornings
Lugging my camera and tripod around botanical gardens, again on weekday mornings. (I have to admit, I wish I had a personal slave to carry and set up my tripod, wipe my sweat, etc )
Getting lots of sleep -

I don't have any off-days or leave to speak of until next year.
Gotta do the Crimbo shopping this weekend to avoid the last minute crowds. And perhaps make a new passport. -
