Thanks, Wanda, so nice of you I guess no one here's been there, else there'd be some mention of it... But that's alright, I'll just chill out at the hotel and occasionally venture out into the Village for some shoppingOriginally posted by Wanda:Sorry SL, I haven't been to Sanur, but will bump it up for others to notice.
Maybe you can go and tell us what's nice thereOriginally posted by SydneyLibrarian:Thanks, Wanda, so nice of you I guess no one here's been there, else there'd be some mention of it... There i was trying to convince someone to go to South east asia.
And they bomb the bleeding place again. I felt like an idiot saying it's safe!!
Hmmm didnt think Bali would be an ideal place for AustraliansOriginally posted by SydneyLibrarian:Thanks...
I pity the poor Balinese people... all they want to do is make a decent living by selling their goods & these @$#^ terrorists just bomb the place and kill innocent people
I'd love to go back to Bali again.. and I hope I can go again next yr.
Aussies love the sun, the sea and the surf! And not to mention those cheap beach massages / reflexology places, and the cheap ethnic goods too. So I think they'd still consider Bali as a good tourist destination despite what's been happening over the past couple of months...Originally posted by Kan_i:Hmmm didnt think Bali would be an ideal place for Australians
considering all the grief that has happened from the bombings and
our own drug rings.
Well i guess when you come back home you will be comforted to know that the beaches here are no longer safe either.Originally posted by SydneyLibrarian:Aussies love the sun, the sea and the surf!
