Had a renewed interest in this topic after reading the feature in yesterday's paper about rooftop spas, restaurants, lounges, etc.
Thanks for pointing to that thread, FI. But as usual, the folks in here usually come up with something new and interesting. -

I started going to spas only in May this year.
I really like it. So far my fav is "The Retreat" at Changi village hotel. Went there with my wife and also alone.
This spa also featured in that article.... i strongly recommend. It is not cheap. but the service is personal and sincere and they don't try to hard sell.
As for overseas spas, I only tried one in Batam and one in Bangkok. Both are ok, the one in BKK is the "Centara". Net chatuchat. I strongly recommend that also. I recommend book by email before flying down. cheaper then singapore. there is language issue between therapist and myself but the level of service is there. -
I don't really go for the full spa treatments. Usually just go for a massage and a ginger wrap/rub

Rhonda it depends on the package. They include those with facials, wraps, scrub, massage, body mask, herbal soak etc etc. It depends -

by the way, do anyone know the contact details of "Spa Ritual" which i believe is in the Bugis area. I cannot find it on the web. But I saw the promotion on the ABN Credit card brouchure but I thik I threw it away already....

Hellooo everyone, I'm back in Singapore!
I recently experienced going to a spa in Bali (Febris spa at Kuta). I loved it! Went for a package which included foot massage, reflexology, and pedicure - all for S$40
The staff were very friendly and professional and best of all they didn't try to sell me anything!!! That's what I hate about spas in Singapore... the staff try to force-sell alot
