Let me hazard a guess....engagement ring or lingerie? Or both?Originally posted by Kuali Baba:I know book vouchers will be among them...my sister's former nanny will probably give an article of clothing. Anyway, now I don't know what to get for them. Anyone got any ideas?
I don't know what I will be getting. I don't care actually. It's the thought that matters. You give me chocolate I also happy at least it's not going to collect dust.
Fun? In one ex-co of mine, the gift exchange was taken to rather extreme proportions, that out of obligation, I had to spend $150-$200 on gifts, plus time and effort to shop for them, wrap them...every year. And I don't even celebrate christmas on a personal level. Phew! Glad there no more of that now.Originally posted by choco B:THEM?? LOL
How many of them? What's budget per pax?
I think gift exchanges are for fun, I'm ok with it.

I am the ONLY single survivor from marriage
I am okay with gift exchange as well.. but I rather spend it on food.
Yeah, there was no mistake. The colleagues were being nice and all that, but it became an obligation to return gifts of a similar value to those from whom I could expect to receive gifts.Originally posted by X-men:$150-$200 you sure its not $15-20?
$150-$200 is way too much man

And then I had to stand by a few other gifts for the 'just in case' ppl who might start to give me x'mas gifts....so every year, the gift list just grew longer. Heng! It's all in the past now....the end to commercialism for me!
