come one who watches these films for actual story line? look at the "Man called Hero" or what ever it is title in SG.

Is the soundtrack for this movie out yet? I love the music from all these epic chinese productions. My favourite so far is the one from Warriors of Heaven and Earth, by A. Rahman. Damn shiok , blasting it with a pair of decent speakers and amplifier. Not so shiok for my neighbours though.

Well, the first two seasons of Ally McBeal were pretty good. After that, it all went downhill.
Hey, did you know that the female cast in Ally McBeal faced tremendous pressure to stay slim because their producer warned them that he likes the ladies slim and if they put on weight, they might be dismissed?
No wonder they all whittled down to bags of bones! At one stage, Calista Flockhart and Portia de Rossi were horrendously skinny! -

And I think you're right - it's never about the storyline. It's more about the cinematography, the colours especially, and the special effects.

To be fair, the choreography for the scenes at the start of the show were impressive!
The General's troop in brilliant, blood-red armour whilst the enemy was in dreary black and they all looked unkempt. (Well, they were barbarians in any case! )
The scenes with the General fighting with his twin Gold spikey balls (nope, not XXX-rated! ) was well-choreographed! You find yourself going ''Whoa!!'' when you saw that scene where he felled several folks at one go and they all fell like dominoes in a concentric pattern around him. WHOA!!!
kan-i, hope you'll get to watch it! Otherwise, you might convince one of us to purchase the DVD and sell and send it to you! -

But i realy enjoy these flicks on the big screen... sure i have wall projector and 5.1 sound. But still not the same. I hope they do release this film... especially if it has been nominated for some awards.
So how much convincing do i need to do?
