Brand, Quality of Price?

Just wanna discuss this
When you guys buy stuff, what aspects of the products you're looking at are important to you?
The brand name, the low price, or their ability to deliver what they promise?
Kinda thinking of this, coz i just got info that one shop is selling second hand clotheswear that are dirt cheap, and some are branded stuff somemore.
Now who here will mind that its secondhand?

depends on what it is...
i never cared about brands... it's always value for money...
which is probably why i got an Akira DVD player and an Enzer 5.1 speaker system in my room
but clothes? again, dependent on the condition.. -
quality,price n specifications. lack 1 oso cannot.

some brands have good quality stuff..

i dun mind pre-owned stuff
as long as i like and it's still in fairly good condition
i bought some stuff thru auction sites and classifieds.......
they are all to my satisfaction
some experience and oso good communication with seller is important
do ur own research first before engaging the deal....
brand is a measure of reliability i guess
u know wat kinda stuff the brand carries and they have been around for how long.......whether there are good or bad reviews.....
some kind of quality is expected.....
of cos u dun buy something tt can't be used or only can be used a couple of times....
price is of a concern to the certain extent
everytime i look at something i will have a price in mind......after reviewing and evaluating the "value" of it......
then i will go see the price, if it's beyond my expectations, then i most probably wun buy it
if it's below my expectations.....then mai tu liao! -

Depends on what I'm buying.
If it's home appliances, electronics items, then the brand is important.
For clothes and accessories, price is important.
For skincare and cosmetics, quality is important.
For books and mags, quality is important.
So there!

For me it's price and actual quality (as opposed to the perceived quality that a brand's image projexts). I care about design too - it has to suit my taste.

clothes and cosmetics - quality and to a certain extent brands, some branded stuff are really good..footwear is a good example..

magazines - i trust branded ones..fhm,maxim,playboy -

the retailers told my sis to look at Japanese or Korean brands instead -

but, quoting the retailer who attended to my sis, they are made in china, and that the quality is questionable
well i havent tried their Zen yet, mabbe i get this, or the ipod -
I'm not brand crazy I don't buy genuine branded stuff even if there was ever a firesale going on but I got a weakness for cheap imitation goods, the thing is I know they are fake but whenever I see em I just gotta get em.

e.g. for regular handbags I don't care abt the brand/price as long as I like it
But.. if it is a backpack that I am taking on a trekking trip
I will invest to buy a reliable brand cos I really REALLY dont wanna be struck with a broken strap or etc on my trip
same thing with shoes...
I don't mind wearing $2 slippers
but trackshoes/boots etc are important ba...
On the other hand though...
I won't buy a $2000 branded designer bag
for fashion cos.. err.. not fashion conscious.
clothes though.. I find weird to buy second hand cos .. personal leh

Certain items, I go for the brand
Certain items that I use it for myself, I go by price -
Depends on the product, either or a combo of price, quality or brand is important for me.
Theres also after sales service, some items like electronics and computer parts requires good after sales service for me.
Most of the time if I can afford it, quality and design is important for me, things that I use very often like clothes.
If a product of different brands are about the same to me, then I will go for price. E.g. Water bottles all seem the same to me, so i go for price.
If I am buyin something that I never bought before and I am too lazy to do research, then I might get something of a good brand. Since I can assume that a good brand will carry at least one of the best in the market.
Then theres items that I wont really care abt price, quality or brand... like sugar for instance.. -

Bugis village sells a lot of good clothes now man... thinking of buying new year clothes there -
