If anyone is wondering why I started this topic it's because someone passed me a Japanese manga (one of those girly ones which I'll never buy to read). The reason I read it because I was told it's hilarious (It is hilarious)
Anyway it got me curious about the industry and culture in real life.
So far I managed to find one article on the net which I think might be interesting to share

I dont know enough of the Japanese culture to have any absolute views. But as human nature is human nature, i doubt that their is much control even for a man to go into this line of work.
