New Clothes for the Chinese New Year!

have not bought any new clothes like that for years

i'm pissed,i waited for sales and all my sizes dun have..
i wanted some brown coloured jeans but only left size 32..
and my shoe don't have the colour i want,ended up buying something people called a sch shoe..
karma must have gotten into me.. -

it's just another holiday, with some dreary family meals to go to at various places, a few rounds of cards, making small talk with relatives who only seem interested in comparing assorted cousin's results and my marital status .....
I haven't celebrated CNY for a few years now and frankly I don't miss it ...

Naturally not being Chinese, we dont celebrate with "red envolopes"
now i am married to very large family with lots of kids, around 15, and lucky for me theres no extended family.
Me thinks chinese chicks should come with a disclaimer -

Not bought my new year clothes yet....Actually I have but that is like worn twice already. So I don't know if I should get new ones.
I need to go shopping -
I don't have the habit of buying new clothes during CNY. I buy new clothes when the old ones start to fall apart.
