New Chow in the Two Fast Food Joints

Have you tasted them?
- McDonald's with their Fan-tastic (pronounced 'fan4' as in 'rice') burger with chicken / beef; and
- Burger King with their BK Imperial Burger, which is essentially Burger with a pineapple ring + teriyaki sauce, much like McD's ol' promo burger, the Kiasu Burger + Teriyaki Burger
I've tried the latter and liked it.
I haven't tried the Fan-tastics, but the New Paper recommended them because the rice patties supposedly doesn't fall apart, and the sauce was nice.
So, what's the verdict? Nice or blah? -
its not very good... I'll go to MOS burger if I want to eat rice burgers..

I tried the imperial burger also.. taste nice.. but its too pricey for wat its really worth.. there is only one beef patty and pineapple.. the price is almost the same as their other burger sets.. not really worth it.. one more slice of pineapple ring vs one more slice of meat.. i'd take the latter..Originally posted by Rhonda:Have you tasted them?

I think as for the pineapple ring, can always add it on if we takeaway burgers!

urm mac rice burger is nicer than their average burger, except for Big and Tasty of cuz..my all time fave
however, its kinda a lot, so it taste nice at first, then as u reach the end u want to vomit liao
I miss the old Samurai burger, Kiasu burger, milkshake and all that
as for Imperial Burger, havent tasted it, but doesnt look much special to me from other BK burgers thou -

McD's Filet O Fish was the first burger from McD's that I ate when they first set up shop here waaaay back then! -

but the MOS Burger milkshakes are alright. -
I was, sadly, not impressed with Carl's Jr. Burger patty was too small, dry, thin. Burger had no oomph. Maybe reading about it so much raised my expectations too high.

The rice burger at McDonald's didn't tempt me (the poster picture)
I thought MOS burger rice burger looked better
I did try their Chicken McSpicy (I know it's out sometime) and boy did it suck.
