The thought of intrusive questions about "When you're having babies" and such is a turn-off, plus Chris is refusing to apply for leave as he wants to avoid the nonsense and also the nice renumeration he'll be getting if he works on CNY.
not true. I think people who have treasure family ties will enjoy CNY. CNY is the time where you can get to catch up with all cousin and to meet distant relatives. It is nice to see all your younger cousin growing up and knowing what they are doing.Originally posted by elindra:Only the young 'uns and KS looking forward to CNY
Since you are the one giving out $2 ang pow....then, I suppose you're somewhat right.Originally posted by Gazelle:Christmas for non christian is just a time for party and I have reason to believe that it will cost more than the ang pao that you need to give to your relatives. so why are you not complaining about christmas?
not true even if you give about $8 each, and assuming you have 30 non married cousin, that will only add up to about $240 of ang pao.Originally posted by Wanda:Since you are the one giving out $2 ang pow....then, I suppose you're somewhat right.
wow try marrying into the trandition? i kinda feel ripped off lolOriginally posted by elindra:I agree with you, especially when you're married and have no kid! Give until you bleed dry man.
