I Love Medicated Oil!

The smell of some of these oils kinda makes my stomach do somersaults!
My stomach protests sometimes when I catch a waft of these smells.
Maybe, too many elderly patients use these and I now associate the smells with work? 
The smells never bothered me before, see! But now, I kinda tak boleh tahan it sometimes. -
I dunno...as a kid, I always thought medicated oil was perfume aunties and grandmothers use

When I was a kid, mom used to use Vicks Vaporub to smear and rub on my bro's and my belly whenever we had stomach discomfort or couldn't sleep and were making nuisances of ourselves!
Odd... maybe it's the psychological association with this kinda smells now, I just can't tolerate it at times.

Actually, when I was in Primary school, someone brought a tiny bottle of a green-coloured medicated oil once and it smelled soooo lovely, we all went to the HDB Chinese medicine shop to buy it after school and then we would dab it all over as a sort of perfume!
I think it only cost us 40 cents then!
I think they stopped importing that... I don't see it on the shelves anymore!

if your nose is stuck, get some steaming hot water, stir in a teaspoon of the stuff and breathe in the vapours...

Fav. is Siang Pure Oil. The Po Sum smell reminds me of younger days..
And tiger balm reminds me of Ah ma... don't like Axe brand.. smells weird. -

i just dumped a pile of axe medicated oil on a mosquito bite.. and now my neck is freezing
