Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Just out on News at 9:30pm on Ch 5... it has been raining heavily for the past 12 days and the rainfall for January so far has doubled the usual rainfall for the same period for the past few years!
Not surprising, given that we've had days when the rain did not let up for the entire day!
There was also news of landslides in Bt Timah Nature Reserve and one other reservoir.
Today's the first sunny day in a long while. Hopefully, we'll have more sunny days to come because it makes it easier for us to do our laundry!
Higher prices for vegetables were also reported, up to 20% steeper, as greengrocers have to source outside Malaysia for our vegetables because the vege farms in M'sia have been affected by heavy rains too.
Already sounds like the traditional steamboat Reunion Dinner is gonna be a tad more expensive compared to previous years!

However, vegetables supplies from Malaysia has reduced sharply due to the rain... Parts of Johor gets flooded -

Maybe, there'll be more babies born this year... it rains so much that folks decide not to go out and stay home instead. A couple watches TV at home, snuggle for warmth, nuzzle each other, one thing leads to another and ... tada... and a baby is born!!
