I never lend out CDs anymore. Instead, I just burn copies for people. What kind of music do you like to listen to?Originally posted by elindra:av98m, can I borrow CDs from you?

BTW, I don't lend CDs to people for the following reasons:
I have OCD and I get upset when:
1. CDs come back with fingerprints, scratches, or both.
2. People lose them.
3. Cracked cd cases
4. People lend them to their friends! Nah Beh!!! I had one CD that ended up taking an unscheduled 4 week trip to Australia and then back, minus the case!
Can, when we meet up for movies during CNY with the nympho nurse and gang?Originally posted by elindra:

Oh my goodness!! I'm like that too! I hate to lend out my stuff cause of the same few reasons!Originally posted by av98m:I never lend out CDs anymore. Instead, I just burn copies for people. What kind of music do you like to listen to?

Oh, I also visually inspect each and every CD for I play, before inserting into the CD player's tray.
That sounds like me tooOriginally posted by Rhonda:OK, I tell you how OCD I can be :
- When I purchase books / mags, they have to pass the 'shine' test. I'll hold them under the light to see if there are any creases or folds on the covers.
- I hate it when people borrow my stuff to read and then flip through them roughly so that every page gets a crease spot or it gets dog-eared or very scratched.
- If the book is part of a set / series, I hate to lend it out cause what if it gets lost, then the entire set is incomplete! Or, there'll be an empty space on the shelf where it's supposed to be and I just cannot stand seeing that glaring emptiness! A collection looks better whole!
That is why I burn copies for people now. CDR is cheaper than replacing an orginal cd with scratches. And some CDs you cannot find replacements at all.Originally posted by elindra:My gripe is when people return my CD with scratches on them or if the cover turns up broken
I'm not so fussy about my books as long as they don't dog-ear them for me.

Hmm... this is certainly NOT a good week to save money
If you see my room you will peng sanz. I'm surrounded by books. There are even books on my bed (about 10 next to my pillow, and another 7 or 8 on a corner of my bed)Originally posted by Rhonda:OK, I tell you how OCD I can be :

Like Rhonda mentioned earlier, SAYE is your friend.Originally posted by choco B:The only way I can save money is if it's not available to me. It's gotta be squirreled away fast and secure. Can't spend what I can't get my hands on!
