I slept... at.... -think- Fantasia at Omnimax theatre. Went after a camp all sunburnt and really dont think that goes well with strong aircon and orchestra music...
But bad movies.. like The Net.. I just walk out. No point wasting my time when I have already wasted my money.

I was forced to watch Titanic with my ex-bf. He loves sappy movies.
I almost fell asleep watching Titanic and the romance between Leo and Kate was really ho-hum. Didn't find it the least bit touching. I think the touching scenes were all done by the extras.
I hate the song ,"My Heart Will Go On" too
Pearl Habour...I was suckered into it. Thought it was some cool WWII style movie but it turned out into a sappy dumb romance movie
with a love storyline that can SERIOUSLY scramble your brain
Don't get me wrong, I do like romantic movies but I'm thinking more of the old classicsa like 'Gone with the Wind', 'Casablanca', 'Doctor Zhivago' etc -
Only if the movie is boring.

i'm warped.. no one ever called True Romance a romance, but to me, it was one of the most romantic movies i've ever watched
there's a psychotic white rastafarian, a bunch of lunatics, the mob, the police, a bloody shootout where almost everyone dies, and in the midst of the mayhem, a tender romance between a "dweeb" comic book shopkeeper and a reformed prostitute....

to think i studied film before. I stopped going to movies much since coming back to Sg. Combination of prices, lack of time, and lack of urge.
why huh... i dont understand. Now I only watch big epic movies like LOTR... those meaningful deep films... i find too tiring and emotionally consuming to watch like the recent... viggo mortenson one.. history of violence or something -

Heard of the last 3 oldies.. wouldnt be caught dead watching any. Simple rule to romantic movies... no laughs no watch. (unless the actors are real good)
