I'm very excited cause this year, I don't have to worry about some yucky roster during the CNY period! I can actually celebrate it to the fullest! First time in four years liao!
Mom said that she bought a lot a lot of seafood for the Reunion Dinner steamboat that we're going to have over at my paternal grandparents' place! I'm sooooooooo excited! Salivating already, thinking of it! -

As usual mush have fish lor, cos "nian nian you yu' mah. Nothing special la, but dunno whether my mom will cook abalone or not, cos recently someone gave her.

Actually, I am having reunion dinner whenever I goes home for dinner with my parents no need to find one day to have it. -

That was the one and only time we had our Reunion Dinner outside. Never again! -
I am actually pretty upset with my parents this year!
They come over supposedly for reuinion dinner and I have arranged it for my aunt and uncle to be there and my parents and my god parents... but my dad invites his friend for reunion dinner! Sucks.... he is not family... anyone ever heard of this happening?
Other than that little whinge... we are having a full spread with snapper, prawns, chicken, beef, squid, duck, toufu etc... -

We are having steamboat.
Started preparation last night. Soaked the fish maw but up to this morning, the maw refused to soften.

havin buffet sumwhere.. apparently have japanese n other nationalities dishes..
oh well.. nothing much..simple simple one -
steamboat at ah ma's house with steamed chicken and duck and noodles and beehoon and canned fruit drinks and I hope my auntie makes konnyakyu jelly so i can stuff meself even more after I stuff meself at dinner!
