  I tried Golden Pillow last night...a bit misconception about their product. I thought the bread would be like those baguette - hard. But it was soft.. but the taste is nice. I was a bit disappointed that the curry was wrapped in plastic one leh. I thought it was a real HUGE bun... portions was quite big too... curry too oily though... can't finish...

  Wish there was a porridge / noodles / dim sum delivery here! Have been craving for a nice bowl of Century Egg Porridge with Pork for a few weeks liao!

  The porridge is pretty expensive and they're not open 24 hours, plus, they don't do home delivery.

  nothing tastes like home cooked porridge leh. I dont know I have never met anywhere that gimme the same type of porridge that's cooked in my home by mom, ah ma, me or hubby.

  Ho Kee porridge is very very nice... tastes homemade!
  
  Congees from Crystal Jade are also very tasty! It's hard to cook congees like the Hong Kong restaurants do.

  I like my porridge HOKKIEN style. Very sticky, not much water, just plain NUAH, with the grains of rice all 'open' liao. You can pick it up with your chop sticks with it barely dropping off.

  and.. there are 4 places with Ho Kee... Maxwell Market, Tiong Bahru Market, Jurong East and the hawker place at the Esplanade..

  Tomorrow, I'm staying home da whole day so I shall be ordering Pizza Hut's Prosperity Pizza and eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
