"Should Porno be legalised in Singapore?"

  One possible nice side effect from making porn legally and widely available will be forcing parents to take the responsibility for teaching their kids about the birds and the bees, so to speak, at a very young age. I'm of the view that if you can't stop teenagers from having sex, at least teach them how to have safe sex! Stop burying your heads in the sand and pretending that sex does not exist (referring to gahmen, parents, education ministry etc)

  Sorry to burst your bubble but porn will not do that. Safe sex and contraception needs to be taught at school if you want to be effective.
  Not all people will buy porn (most woman do not like porn, lol regardless of how we pray we find one that does lol) and just cause people watch porn does not mean they will admit it and talk to there kids. Most parents are never comfortable enough to talk to their kids.

  Well they're doing a piss poor job of it in schools. Its the parents' responsibility to teach their kids about these things anyway. This is one of those things that piss me off about Singaporeans. They expect the education ministry to raise their fucking kids for them!

  See...even porn there are many different types. I like the asian softcore stuff. But there are mainstream movies out there with good storylines and excellent naked scenes! Those are the best!!

  you know, i think porn is only exciting right now cos we dont get it EVERYWHERE or easily off cable. Sure, we get to have the internet, but that's only if you log on and surf for specific sites. If we get access to porn 247, i think i will be desensitised and bored to nude bodies and sex acts after the first exciting, exhausting week!!
  
  Second is... porn has many 'categories' leh. I guess if they legalise it, they need also to limit the TYPES of porn available and that makes an already grey area far broader. For e.g. BDSM runs a whole gamut of 'variations'. Which is 'acceptable' and which can just create problems?
  
  Third leh, is if you can see in on cable, why can't you see it live? These people are professional sex workers, so why can't we see it live? Do you want pornographic live shows here? Humm... I am not sure abt that.
