Its probably not needed to have individual cards honestly. LOL and yes i dont feel it necessary to have my own separate bank account, i just use her bank card if i need money lol. Unless you plan to buy gifst for some one else

Actually, it's probably more like the girls are in love with the idea of being in love, and these guys happen to be within reach at that point in time when they want to love and 'be loved' and so, they just go ahead with it.Originally posted by av98m:

I'm not big into Valentine's day and neither is he... we prefer to spend that day at home cos we hate crowds, over-inflated prices of dinners/flowers/cards. We'd rather go out another day after Valentine's day... besides, I agree with elindra in that when u're in love, everyday is V-day
Oh yea, and I'll be working on Valentine's day till 9pm.. so... hehe if we did wanna celebrate on that day, die-die also cannot -

I think it really depends on each of us, what are the values we think are most important, and which we think are intolerable. So given a choice between a whole range of imperfections and bad qualities which all of us possess to a certain degree or other (though may not have it to extreme case), I guess to some people, miserliness is not as bad compared to if he is a horrible splurger or gambler. There's always a shadow around every bright spot! (or issit silver lining around every cloud?) -
just a little survey, do you think after getting married, u should have ur personal savings and not tell ur other half?

So funny though I dont really get the 'pooled' savings thing. I mean most women have their OWN savings account before marriage. So what do the men expect them to do? Close them and put all the earnings into joint account? Then the guys also close their own account... Very inconvenient leh...plus nowadays most people have A FEW savings account....
Dunno leh... hubby and I have both joint and separate accounts. We don't have much issues with money.. hee maybe cos neither of us earn much
