I actually have a 4 D-cell maglite serving as a weapon at home for strange people knocking on my door. And there have been some strange ones. GGGgggggrrrr!!! Don't they realise it's rude to peek into my house instead of just asking me "Does XYZ live here?"

What architectural styles do you favour?
My other favs are spanish villas.
I also don't mind old gothic style architecture as seen in some of the worlds cathedrals... especially notre dame.
Then there is a really cool architect by the name of Calatrava that has really sinuey swooping architecture that is very impressive. Also Zaha Hadid another architect who has really organic lines.
Most notably the two architects which influenced my career path and design ideals are Frank Llyod Wright and Fay Jones.
My wife's uncle in singapore is also an architect...
