Fallingwater by Frank Llyod Wright is very very famous. I've read features on Wright's architectural works in mags before.Originally posted by breytonhartge:Modern balinese style... but it really depends as I also like the old english colonial bungalows... with a modern twist... but then as long as a house is well designed, I can appreciate it.
My other favs are spanish villas.
I also don't mind old gothic style architecture as seen in some of the worlds cathedrals... especially notre dame.
Then there is a really cool architect by the name of Calatrava that has really sinuey swooping architecture that is very impressive. Also Zaha Hadid another architect who has really organic lines.
Most notably the two architects which influenced my career path and design ideals are Frank Llyod Wright and Fay Jones.
My wife's uncle in singapore is also an architect...

Yours is due to stress at work. Don't know what mine is due to!Originally posted by elindra:Sigh.... I had a dream yesterday about being chased too
I guess it's due to the deadlines I have to meet for a bunch of stuff. Think I was chased by zombies or something but basically it looks like a D grade horror movie
Maybe you are just worrying too much about your move to Oz and how things will not be done on timeOriginally posted by Rhonda:Found an interpretation of 'Snake' in dreams :
"Snake
To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. The snake may also be seen as phallic and thus symbolize dangerous and forbidden sexuality. The snake may also refer to a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted. As a positive symbol, snakes represent transformation, knowledge and wisdom. It is indicative of self-renewal and positive changes. "
