Nah.. generational gap, its like she's living in some ancient china courtyard house where she wanna assert her dominance as 'top' daughter in law'. so she makes use of things like my tea ceremony and dinner to 'show' her status. Now she has told my other brother-in-laws that she and her kids are not coming to my place for a housewarming cos.... u know why? I didnt go to her place to bai nian yet.
BUT all my hubby's elder brothers and sisters are coming AND my mother in law. Even her hubby is coming! She just wanna 'show face' and it makes the whole occasion, which is a happy family gathering, just a little uncomfortable cos of her analness.
How I wish to shove one of my nice piping hot curry potato wedges up her ass!!

Yeah!!! My hubby's siblings are all very nice.. very quiet unassuming people. It's just HER!! I dont get how she fits into the entire jigsaw puzzle. My mother in law can't stand her side of the family. Sigh.. i shouldnt be 'washing dirty linen in public' but.....AND i rarely rant... Sounds like how arguments are settled at my house. My family are made up of SUPER emotional melodramatic people.. hehehe.. me, my parents and my bro. Everytime got argument, we will have one of those living room scenes where everyone shout and scream, then end up professing how much we love each other.
