I ask you then what about age?
Australian Statistics (ABS) has shown that most couples that marry an average of 2 years apart. With the male being 2 years older naturally.
Most theories behind this is that Woman's primal urge is to feel safe and be taken care of.... older male likely to be better providers.
Do you have a problem with going out or marrying an older woman or younger man?
And do you fit the theory? -
well, love has reasons reason can never understand...

But then, since you mentioned this, let me highlight one point, that it's often the older guy/gal that are more sensitive.
I was with an older guy before. Made a darn cruel joke(on reflection) and kinda regretted till now. Cant keep my stupid mouth shut sometimes.

I have been with a guy many many many years my senior, and also one who's a few years my junior before.
Age isn't a big issue. It's whether you can connect, whether there's chemistry, whether there's love. Age doesn't determine maturity at all!
To me, height would be a greater issue than age!

Been with the same guy for 26 years. And yes, he is older than me. And I look up to him........always....and in every sense of it. He is my rock, my solace, my best friend, erm, sorry....my "punching bag" too.
Going with someone younger will/may not work for me. I like to look up to my man! -

Youngest Hmmm.. dated someone a few months younger than me leh but don't think that's much of an issue as long as the guy doesn't act like he's kindergarten age.
Talking abt 'reflection', when I was much younger I went out with a guy about 10 years older than me. He's an #*(#*@&#@*.
But one 'scene' I remember is him bending down to check something on the floor, then me looking at his bald spot and combover (he was abt 30 but most men in their 30s don't have bald spots leh!) and his sudden stunned face when he looked up to realise I am looking at his bald spot. I bet he is completely bald now that (#)@#()(@))@&#@*& man. ha ha! -

He's tanned and very VERY very VERY fit with lean pecs to match his build.

I guess it is tougher in Singapore to accept a younger guy when you're younger because you're out working/studying and he is still serving the army. The things you talk about, the people you mix with, the environment is so different.
However, I don't think it is that much a difference when both parties are out in the workforce working.
Just my 2 cents
