It's okay. I don't mind. I'm in San Diego right now. We move every 3 years. Just moved got here from Japan last October. Where are you at?Originally posted by breytonhartge:yes... by the way, where are you at Jetta? In Singapore? Sorry for having to ask... more of a newbie here...
actually I have been very blessed, my dogs have never gotten sick...Originally posted by jetta:Yup. Totally! I bought a bag the other day only because they had a book of coupons in it. There were ten $1 off coupons in there for greenies and other products. Say, speaking of other products, do you find it difficult to administer pills to your dogs? I found this product called a Pill Pocket. You just place the pill inside and give it to your dog. My dog's been sick for 4 months and he got tired of us wrapping his pills in cheese or peanut butter. I was so desperate until I saw and bought Pill Pocket. It's a beef treat, not as fattening as cheese or peanut butter. In fact, I have to leave in a bit to get another bag.
How lucky you and your dogs are. My dog, Kea was always in good health until we moved from Japan for here. After numerous tests, we were told that he caught some fungal infection leaving Japan and another two more when we drove from Seattle to San Diego. We took many breaks inbetween and he must have caught something on the way down.Originally posted by breytonhartge:actually I have been very blessed, my dogs have never gotten sick...
which part? My grandparents used to live in San Diego... my granddad was an officer in the US army and then when he retired, he entered the diplomatic service... they had a house opposite from the UCSD campus. Cannot remember the area... that was 12 years ago...Originally posted by jetta:It's okay. I don't mind. I'm in San Diego right now. We move every 3 years. Just moved got here from Japan last October. We're in South Bay near Eastlake. That house your grandparents had. Do they still own it? IF they do, cha-ching man! We are in the market for a home and OMG the prices here are riduculous! We can't afford anything here in South Bay so we're looking inland. WAY inland.Originally posted by breytonhartge:which part? It got sold about 2 years ago when my grandma passed away... it was a very nice house! I remember spending a lot of good times there!Originally posted by jetta:We're in South Bay near Eastlake. Sigh. If only. He's still coughing. (Standing joke at the vet's is that he's trying to cut it down to 2 packs a day.) The internist says it could take longer than a year, if at all, to get him back to normal.Originally posted by breytonhartge:oh dear! hope he is better!
Aw. I'm sorry to hear that. Are you still in CA though? I'll bet it was a very nice house. People here are obsessed with the real estate market IMHO.Originally posted by breytonhartge:It got sold about 2 years ago when my grandma passed away... it was a very nice house!
