In it, you'll get a booklet of recipes of local desserts, an apron and a fridge magnet. The booklet and the fridge magnet were given in earlier issues some time back whilst the apron was for sale, also a while back. Now, you get them all free!

There's a 'Woman's Day' from America, and also from Australia, that comes out once in two to three weeks! -

If you know the duration of a woman's "a second more, dear!", then the title "women's weekly" isn't surprising for a monthly magazine.
Good gifts huh. I always buy magazines cos I am a sucker for freebies.
-guilty- Actually i am REALLY a sucker for freebies. It's not the gift, its just getting them free I get a kick out of. When I was in US... when i was bored, I will surf those 'free samples' websites, and keep sending them to myself. So exciting when I receive my free stockings (in the wrong colour), free EQUAL sugar packets (which I dont use cos I am very sensitive to the bitter aftertaste), free DOVE shower cream sample (can't bear to open cos the packaging so cute), free STICKER to protect the environment (which arrived crumpled) and free shampoo which I use when I need a cheering up
if only they have lots of things like this in Singapore too... -
it takes the regular readers a month to read the thing?

Bleh, I don't like women's magazines though I am a woman. I hate that stuff, can't help it. It doesn't enrich me, I prefer something more meaningful. Dear female forum colleagues, please don't execute me for that, it's just my opinion.
