I can't comprehend... actually I work in a welfare organisation that work very closely with people with disabilities. I cannot understand how it is possible to be compassionate for fellow human beings and at the same time, display a cruel callousness towards the life of animals.
Do people think there is any difference between culling and killing? It's just the spelling, that's all. I .. really don't get it. Oh well..
It would be great if you could help care for the kitten till its weaned. I will try in the meantime to find someone who would be able to keep it for good. Could you pm me your contact pls Rhonda? I will give you a call tmrw if none of my colleagues would be able to take it. Thank you so much... -

Thankfully Rhonda has offered to take care of it till its a bit bigger.
It's very malnourished and very small right now
I'll take it back when Rhonda has to leave, and meantime, will look for someone to adopt it
I'm not going to put up a picture right now, cos its really thin and sickly and no one is going to find it cute. But judging from my two kittens, in no time at all with good love and care, it will grow bigger fatter and flourish into a tubby, mischievous, scampering kitten attempting to chew your toes off.
So pls.. those who are worried abt taking care of such a young kitten, perhaps you can consider taking it up when its bigger and weaned? Like I said, it will come with free consultative and sometimes unsolicited care advice from unqualified personnel (i.e. me) -

I'll be out later today for the entire night but I've already put aside a box with towels in it for kitty to be in. I'm going to pick a soft toy for kitty to cuddle up to as well but when I sleep at night, kitty is going to sleep in her box right next to me so that I can hear him/her when it cries.

Y'know, someone abandoned Marcus, a medium-haired, semi-pedigreed white cat with gray stripes outside my apartment when I was living in Marsiling, because they didn't know how to take care of it and it was ill. It had ear mites, matted fur, diarrhoea, and fleas!! Eeeeewww!! But with a visit to the vet and a lotta lotta TLC, Marcus grew big and strong and became sooo handsome!!
Never underestimate the power of nurturing and TLC! It brings out the lion in your cat!

Hope can get it used to the milk bottle before I do the 'handover'... call ya tmrw rhonda! I'm sure the kitty will be comforted with a 'missy' looking after her ..

And it'll be really kewl if someone in Club 30 can adopt the kitten after it has been weaned off the milk bottle cause then, we can find out about kitty's progress and it can be our mascot, like you suggested! -

just to inform all of u that the kitten has died. Was severely malnourished and tick infected. Tried to feed it but it kept vomiting out the milk plus blood so i think it has internal bleeding already. Then it just died while me and husband was looking at it. stop breathing and whole body went rigid.
thanks for all ur concern and thank you Rhonda for offering to take care of it. I am sure you would have really taken good care of it. Sorry that despite all our best intentions, it still died anyway. Sometimes, it just doesn't work out the way we want it to, even if we try. -
