Hullo folks, am thinking of taking a trip up Fraser's hill... never been there before wonder if anyone can reccommend nice BUDGET accommodation?

Sorry, SC......the last time I was there was like early or mid 80s. Must have changed big time liao. Then, we stayed at the Holiday Inn. Not even sure if it's still there.
Memory of that visit is really very faint and actually I was going to write the weather is cool and it is a golf haven but then, I may confused it with Strawberry Park in Cameron Highlands.
Anyways, good luck with your search and have fun visiting.

Have not been there yet.
I still want to travel to Cameron Highlands and Langkawi one of these days. And also to Cherating where they have several beach resorts.
I guess I might try to squeeze in a mini-vacation when I return to SG next time! -
thers a nice plc on the top called. swiss village or sumthg similar. i belive the frech village is also open by now.

Oooo I love that place but I have not stayed in any of the hotels before as we stayed in this house which my aunt booked....kinda like a chalet but there are people who will cook for us and stuff.
The lamb stew there is the best I've ever tasted!!

It's ok... thanks anyway folks... heehee.. we managed to find out tt is not toooo expensive.. the puncak inn I heard from my friend is mosquito infested so even though that is cheaper... decided not to run any risk of dengue or watever.....
Rhonda... Cameron Highlands is really nice. I like it a lot.. though ti has become very commercialised. There is this guy who organise jeep tours and he brought us into a lovely littleknown waterfall, besides all the nature trek with an orang asli telling us abt plants...
. You can't mistake his shop, its very unique down the main row of shops at cameron highlands made of wood and all -
