Have anyone eaten Arowana before? I think those are too tiny to eat. He got the red Arowana so those are expensive. They were still babies. If you get those normal silver ones they just cost around $18 bucks per piece.Originally posted by Fatum:at 5K , of course you'd want to keep it in the freezer ...
to cook one day and suck clean every bone ... and maybe grind the bones into powder and glup it down with water too ...
I dunno about able to war off / absorb evil vibesOriginally posted by skeujin:bt arrowanas live a long time. they recognise their owners and r suppsed to be able to ward off / absorb evil vibes....
n they luk hella cool hovering in a tank....
I remember hearing somewhere that some rich people in China do eat them .. to show off of course, cos arowana's supposed to be very bony ....Originally posted by elindra:Have anyone eaten Arowana before? A lot of Chinese households keep Arowanas for precisely that - warding off evil.Originally posted by elindra:I dunno about able to war off / absorb evil vibes
But they are supposed to belong to the 'prehistoric' fish cat
I thought they are kinda fascinating but SO doesn't like them.
im probably going glutton bay 2ngt. interested?Originally posted by Rhonda::-P~~~ Yummy!!!

Maybe, the arowana died cause there was too much evil around it?

Ok. I had a near fatal accident before, but at that point of time I was not rearing any fish. Only my dad had a very bad predomination an hour before the accident happened about me and he said he was praying very hard for my safety. I might have died if I didnÂ’t stop sliding (would have died horribly though ) That would be head down a flight of stairs to broken glass and twisted metal belowOriginally posted by skeujin:got i got stories from my frens whr their family member were involved in near fatal accidents n miraculously escaped unscatched to find their arrowana dead. or on death's door due to illness and well when their health turn for the better. the arowana begins to fall ill n dies...

I'm not sure about that .... I was cynical about such things before .... ghosts and the supernatural stuff didn't mean anything to me until NS .... there were other incidents and injuries too (including a fatality ... but i won't go into much details ... it wasn't one of those ill-treatment cases or a training accident ... that one i believe, fell under the X-files) .... and some gold fish conked out too ....Originally posted by elindra:
Is it a conicidence?
I was on a double decker bus to KL. Btw that was the FIRST time I was going to KL by bus. Never again! I was flung out of my seat, 3 rows down to almost down the stairs. Btw someone did die. Was thrown out of the bus. Nasty accident involving 2 coaches, 2 lorries, 2 cars. Honestly I can't remember anything except picking myself up from the floor. (Btw my head was dangling off the edge of the stairs) I think that's how I got the slip disc in my neck. Had whiplash and lots of nasty bruises but other than that I was ok.Originally posted by skeujin:holy crap whr wer u? sound like some horror movie....
