which reminds me.. in school, for about half a year, people went around stealing other people's photographs which invariably appeared with a silly and obviously fake name in the student magazine we were forced to buy...

It used to be that really eccentric names were usually found in Hong Kongers and Filipinos but nowadays, even the locals are joining in the foray!
Some weird names I've come across, and this is REAL :
- Winnie (like in Winnie the Pooh! )
- Baby (!!! Will she ever grow up?! )
- Swarn
- Galileo (Yes! Really!)
- Reddy
- Wendell (Yeah... his sister is called Wendy. )
- Sushil (Parents love sushi? )
- Apple
- Rain

the silliest of them all were from the Zappas... Frank Zappa named his son Dweezil Zappa and his daughter Moon Unit Zappa...
